To compete in the digital economy, established companies must take advantage of digital technologies to deliver both operational excellence and rapid business innovation. But operational excellence and business innovation impose very different design requirements on companies. These different requirements are driving two business transformations—we refer to these transformations as digitized versus digital.
Join us for an in-depth discussion of the opportunities and challenges that digitized and digital are presenting. Jeanne Ross will provide an introduction to five architectural building blocks that help companies coordinate the people, processes, and technology to become both digitized and digital. She will draw on case studies of Schneider Electric, LEGO, DBS Bank, Northwestern Mutual, CarMax, and others to explore how big, old companies are designing themselves for sustained success.
Her coauthor, Cynthia Beath, will join her for a lively conversation about their individual observations about companies that are transforming to become digital.
